Summary: If you’re tagged, you have to pretend that you’re a toilet!
Goal: To avoid being tagged OR (for the people who are “it”) to tag the entire team.
Preparation:
– It helps to limit the playfield to certain boundaries.
How to Play Toilet Tag:
1. Ask for three volunteers. These three people will be “it”.
2. When you say “go”, the people who are “it” will try to tag as many people as possible. If one of volunteers tags another person, the tagged person needs to be in a sitting position (stand still) in his or her place, stick out his/her hand, and be a “toilet”. The only way to “unfreeze” a person is to have someone who currently isn’t frozen, sit in the person’s lap and use their hand as a handle and “flush” them. If a person becomes unfrozen, he/she can run again.
3. The people who are “it” tries to freeze the entire team. If volunteers freeze the entire team, the volunteers win. If at least one person remains unfrozen by the end of 5 minutes, then the team wins and you can choose three different volunteers.
